I would think a base Camaro with a 2.7 turbo will likely have 340 HP so it should be quicker than the 305hp from the 2015 LTZ 3.6. But I prefer the normally aspirated 3.6 v6 over a turbo 4 any day for its sound and reliability. We have a 2015 Impala LTZ... I'd just keep that over any of those Camaro renderings. Zero interest in a 4 door sedan Camaro.

Body rigidity is the main culprit as that leads to the creaks. Weight can be fixed with material choices but that is also generally plus $.The trunks on the Gen 6 are tiny
The 5th has usable trunk but its still small.
The only problem with hatch backs is body rigidity hatch creaks and the weight of the glass.
