  1. 2029 Camaro - model year report

I think it depends. Is it wrong to call it a Chevelle? Not necessarily. But if they design it to look like a Camaro and then just add four doors, does it really make sense to call it a Chevelle when it's clearly recognizable as a Camaro? If they're going to bring back names like Chevelle...
  2. 2029 Camaro - model year report

If I buy another 4 door it will continue to me my Chevy Tahoe's 😁... lol.. I want nothing else that has 4 doors... If it has 4 doors it's my daily driver and if it's my daily driver it's a Tahoe. Anything for fun is going to have 2 doors max or no doors and only 2 wheels... 😉
  3. 2028 Camaro (7th generation) approved! Production begins late-2027

100% the bold part.. I also care about that if it ends up being a legit thing...

  5. 2028 Camaro (7th generation) approved! Production begins late-2027

I only said that I think the design matters for how it sells. That's not exactly a controversial take, it's just my opinion. 🤷‍♂️ I couldn't care less how it sells either way. GM hasn't even officially acknowledged it as a production vehicle yet, so debating future production numbers feels a bit...
  6. 2029 Camaro - model year report

Got to wait till the end of 2029? Well that bites. I put off my hunt to replace my hyperblue 2SS and passed up a pretty stellar deal (in today's market) not that long ago thinking we'd hear something this fall. Guess I'll start hunting again.
  7. Found something in a carspotter group

Here's the link to the article. I won't believe anything until it comes from GM.
  8. Found something in a carspotter group

Oh man, Hyper Blue would the the icing on the cake for me.
  9. Found something in a carspotter group

I've been holding out, even found a 6th Gen I'd purchase that I've been looking for, for about 10 months, but holding off for this news. Hope Motortrend is right, I'll be ordering one.
  10. Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

In addition to the Camaro or replacement of it?
  11. Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

That's kind of my point. A turbo-4 Camaro is much more likely to be someone's daily driver than an SS 1LE. If it's your primary vehicle, fuel economy matters. If it's a weekend toy, it probably doesn't. I think we're talking about two very different groups of buyers. My example was a 2SS not...
  12. Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

Do you think that's true for a toy vehicle? I understand it if it's someone's primary mode of transportation—like choosing between a Camry and a Tahoe—but I don't think people buying a Camaro as a "toy" are too concerned about gas prices.
  13. Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

I'm wondering if the new Camaro news is causing people to hold off on buying. I sold my 6th Gen about a year ago and have been looking to replace it ever since. I've been watching the market religiously for the last year, and over the past month or so I've noticed that even the really good deals...
  14. 2028 Camaro (7th generation) approved! Production begins late-2027

Ohhh... I don't know, I believe it 100% matters to how well it sells.
  15. Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

Sure wish GM would announce something.
  16. Dont make a Camaro.

Honestly, I don't have a strong opinion on what GM does with the Camaro. If they build one that checks the boxes for me, I'll be in the market. If they don't, I'll look elsewhere. I get the nostalgia and the "don't mess with a good thing" mindset, though. If the Camaro returns, I'd personally...
  17. 7th gen Camaro design previewed by next gen NASCAR Camaro first look?

I will reserve judgement on any 7th gen Camaro when I actually see a 7th Gen Camaro.
  18. New GMC Jimmy is coming with V8, BOF, removal roof

Hmmm Interesting... I used to own a Jimmy back in the day. Definitely can't wait to see it.
