Found this picture in a facebook carspotting group, the people couldn't quite figure out what is was. In times of AI you can't believe a thing but I can't see obvious AI hints looking at it for now. Could this be the new Chevy?

I hope this isn’t the new Camaro, but it sort of looks the part. Looks very similar to the nascar. If so, it’s boring. Unremarkable 🄱

Yeah, for sure! Too boring to be a Camaro, Even a kia is more exciting than this.

What spooked me is how similar it looks to the ā€˜new’ nascar Camaro… I just feel a big let down coming. Especially given Al O. retired.

did the post say when the photo was taken? Often you’ll see camo cars driving around just for development purposes.

as a point of reference with car running around in Camo, if the headlights are JC Whitney it’s about 80 weeks from production. If it has the real headlamps, which this car has, it’s about 50 weeks out. Now that timing may be a bit out of date but with that, this car is inside one year. I’m not sure if any of the 3 weeks are discussing is that close. Didn’t they say end of 27?

the other thing is GM has gotten pretty much out of building prototypes. It apparently takes approval from Marry Barra to get one in a program.

Also, the front overhang looks too long to be Alpha.

not sure what this is but I’m guessing it’s not one of the 3.

and fun fact, in Florida, I’ve seen camoflauged cars running around that are already in production. One Mitsubishi and one Mercedes.

It sounded like it was taken recently, but no real clue, could even be an older image. What makes me wonder is that Chevrolet would for sure add waaaaaaay more padding to hide the bodypanels.
This was how one of the first Camaro6 was spotted, you can't really make anything out of it
