It sounded like it was taken recently, but no real clue, could even be an older image. What makes me wonder is that Chevrolet would for sure add waaaaaaay more padding to hide the bodypanels.
This was how one of the first Camaro6 was spotted, you can't really make anything out of ity
It's actually not his sketch, he just AI videod the Camaro 6 Z/28 concept that the official GM Design social media account posted (long after the car was cancelled).
There even was a mule of the Z/28 spotted way before, it has the same spoiler as the concept.
So this Camaro was actually on...
Found this picture in a facebook carspotting group, the people couldn't quite figure out what is was. In times of AI you can't believe a thing but I can't see obvious AI hints looking at it for now. Could this be the new Chevy?
This car we've seen with Gen 6 stickers was now seen without them. Without any Chevrolet stickers it's safe to assume it's just the generic Nascar model the league uses for testing and not related to a specific brand
.
It's important to understand that Nascars don't have real lights. So what people see are just stickers. They put the Gen 6 ZL1 stickers on this Nascar everywhere except those new headlight stickers. And afaik Nascar requires the carmakers to have them resemble an actual car not just some fake...
You can easily see that the bumper and rear stickers are 1:1 the Gen 6 ZL1 Refresh. The only changed the upper grille and headlights.
It even looks as if they put the old ZL1 stickers on it to hide the new fascia for a while, you can easily see a completely new /¯¯¯¯\ shaped lower grille...
They already build a car that could compete with a same modelyear M4 and ATS-V for way less money. And it failed to sell.
I think Chevy knows that the new Camaro has to be an affordable ponycar, that doesn't try to be a sportscar but just a smooth Grand Tourer with a V8. For people wanting...
I think it's pretty clear that the new car in development is more of a "Camaro successor" instead of a direct Camaro 7. The first articles even stated that it's unclear if the car will even get the Camaro name or might be something else. I think a retro inspired Impala is actually quite perfect...
He also made big claims about LT2 coming to the Camaro6 since it was "just a reversed LT1"...
He has quite the reputation to just say anything for clickbait views
We should always have in mind how many "insider sources" claimed that there will be a final Camaro6 model with the LT2 engine from the Corvette and some even claimed the upgraded engine from the Blackwing will come to the ZL1.
In the end Chevrolet would be quite dumb to undermine their...
