Yep. Since the folks at SRT are in the ‘find out’ phase, maybe they’ll come up with something? If GM intends to sell that thing, it had better be a VERY aggressively priced 6.7L six speed manual… And I still don’t see a Camaro badge accomplishing much of anything other than wrecking the Camaro...

Agree, the spoiler is the tell… I’m definitely out if it looks anything like this. Resembles a 2013 or so accord ‘sport’ lol.

What spooked me is how similar it looks to the ‘new’ nascar Camaro… I just feel a big let down coming. Especially given Al O. retired.

I really liked his rendering of the Z28… but it’s all speculation. He does have some solid contacts at GM, however. 🤞

According to “American cars and racing” on YouTube, it’ll be a sedan disguised as a coupe- with the rear door handles hidden. This sounds on the level of fake sound for a ‘muscle EV’. That might just work as a Chevelle. Camaro? Nope.

Same here. I really like the transparent/ removable hardtop on the C8 coupe. That’s a big draw for me. T’s or something similar would be great. I like sunroofs as well, but the SR did ruin some of lines on Gen 6. I really liked how that line carried from the hood through the roof.

I’m right there with you. Might as well wait on C8, anyway. One, the aero seems to be permanently on constraint. Two, I love the direction they chose with LS6, but reliability wise, it might make sense to wait that out a while as well… Best time to buy will be after the GSX hoopla/ hype dies...

The Chevy Camaro is a COUPE. I seriously don’t get it… Make it a Chevelle if insisting on offering a Chevy sedan. That said, I wouldn’t care if they offered both. I’d buy a Camaro coupe or perhaps try to wait out some decent pricing on C8 GS.
