Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

Same here. I really like the transparent/ removable hardtop on the C8 coupe. That’s a big draw for me. T’s or something similar would be great. I like sunroofs as well, but the SR did ruin some of lines on Gen 6. I really liked how that line carried from the hood through the roof.

Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

I’m right there with you. Might as well wait on C8, anyway. One, the aero seems to be permanently on constraint. Two, I love the direction they chose with LS6, but reliability wise, it might make sense to wait that out a while as well… Best time to buy will be after the GSX hoopla/ hype dies...

Here is how I think we could see a coupe

Agree. If GM would’ve accepted my nitro ZLE, I’d be done looking for good… nice RS, btw! They built TWO of those because they used all the CF aero on the panther cars, I think. One is for sale, but earth automotive wants $149 for it… Quite possibly still a decent investment as long as it’s...

Here is how I think we could see a coupe

I’m definitely interested in a coupe, but according to most recent article at GMA, a four door it is. I’m OUT if they bring Camaro back exclusively as a sedan. No loss, I sold my 1SS1LE thinking camaro was dead for good. I’ll keep looking for a 6th Gen Z.

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

Old charger good, new one? It would’ve been difficult to make the coupe any uglier. Just my opinion. I’m torn- on one side I hope it flops. Would dodge then move on to a clean sheet lighter/ more athletic version of challenger (and shoehorn that beautiful sounding 6.2 SC HEMI between the...

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

You’re not alone… I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of old men yelling at the sky. They don’t seem to care about cultivating any brand loyalty long term. I started with a 1970 Camaro in 1986, and I remained loyal to Chevrolet well into my early 50’s for my trucks… I expect a sedan. If...

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

Agree. I don’t think I can can take the plunge on a six figure car… $50-70 seemed bad enough. I keep thinking holy $hit, that’s $7k just in sales tax! The one upside is if you sold one, you certainly didn’t lose your shirt. I like your idea. I sold my 23 1SS 1LE because I couldn’t deal with...

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

Wow… Agree, despite some significant costs associated with production going down (carbon credits going to Tesla/ CAFE/ REG rollbacks), the prices are- and will become even more- absurd. It boils down to WE are the piggybank they intend to draw from to compensate for the following issues: 1)...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

And it’s definitely a GM thing. I’ve had two challenger hellcats built and delivered to order (well, not quite, the 1st one arrived with some cosmetic damage from transit and when I insisted they produce part to fix, the dealer sold the car out from under me!). The dodge dealer network is a mix...

Sedan or Coupe 7th gen Camaro - what do you prefer?

The Chevy Camaro is a COUPE. I seriously don’t get it… Make it a Chevelle if insisting on offering a Chevy sedan. That said, I wouldn’t care if they offered both. I’d buy a Camaro coupe or perhaps try to wait out some decent pricing on C8 GS.

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

Yea, the compression is way too high for boost. They would certainly have to tweak the heads or pistons to go forced induction, but they did so with the 5.5 ZR1? I’d definitely be interested in a NA AWD ZL1 at that price. It gets you to the same place HP wise just doesn’t sound quite as good;)...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

I hesitated largely due to rumor that the CE cars were going to be bright yellow. Just to clarify (and in GM’s defense) after the dust settled, by ā€˜sold order’, I submitted my nitro yellow build to a high volume dealer in hopes it would be matched to an allocation. If memory serves, my order was...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

I loved the 6th gen especially in ZL1 1LE trim. More of the same (or at least very similar) please! Direct and multiport injection (say hello to 6.7!). More choice with respect to interior colors Bright yellow must be available at all times The gen 6 was a great car. Spend some resources to...
