Sedan or Coupe 7th gen Camaro - what do you prefer?

I keep reading that the 7th gen will be a sedan. At this point in my life I actually might prefer a sports sedan (more space inside) over a coupe.

Curious what form others prefer the 2028 Camaro to be? Vote in the poll .

I would rather the camaro stay a coupe and introduce a different classic muscle car name as a sedan. Chevelle or Nova.
If i were being greedy i would like to see buick in this mixup with a coupe grand national and sedan Skylark

My 2018 Camaro still gets a lot of positive attention, and the 6th gen is objectively the best Camaro ever made.

At this point GM are well aware of the shortcomings that limited its sales potential, and if, instead of addressing them and keeping the car a coupe, they bring out a sedan or another random SUV and call it a Camaro, I don't see how they plan to make it successful.

I'm still surprised at this news and hope that it's a sign of a genuine 7th gen Camaro, not some frankenstein like the Mustang SUV. It has to be cheap, too, and of course it can't try to eat the Corvette's lunch... we'll see

What do I prefer between the two? Coupe. But I fear it will be a sedan. For over 6 months now it has been known that a new, unnamed V8 sedan will be built at the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant.

I mean, when shopping for the wife's family hauler I always lusted for the G8's LOL!!
But Camaro needs to be a 2dr, but I''l never say I would walk away from a cool build.

It has to be a coupe... If a sedan is truly being considered there's no need for the Camaro name IMO...

That's assuming they call it a Camaro.
That said, Mustang fans seem to be the same way when someone suggests a potential 4 door mustang derivative sedan. It's find if it's another name, but don't name it a Mustang...

They have hinted that if the camaro is a mid-sized coupe, that a convertible will also be on the development list. That said, apparently the rental car companies are the biggest buyers of that style.

Being on the alpha platform, a sedan will still have great handling and the two extra doors would make it a lot more usable in the real world

BUT, it should have a different name........Chevelle or Nova

The problem of inflation and tariffs likely put the base 2028 V8 @ $59,000 so a sedan makes the price more easy to justify.

Lots of nicely used 6g ZL1 Camaros, and c6/c7/c8 corvettes under that price now for those who want two doors.
