I'm not a sedan buyer. A sedan would have to be ultra cheap with really great performance before I would consider it. Having said that, something muscular more than sporty as a daily driver sounds like a lot of fun.

I also think that the majority of the market for the Camaro is older. The average age of the 6 gen Camaro buyer was 52. I doubt there are many over 80 buying, so I bet there are very few in their 20s as well. Younger people just don't have the money to buy new.

I know I'm a little conservative with money, but I didn't buy a new car until I was mid 40s. I think in general responsible people will do something similar.

I've driven muscle cars, and I've driven pony cars, and I know my preference...as does anyone who is paying attention on these forums. I fully admit, I am biased, I absolutely love driving muscle cars...especially sleepers. It doesn't need a loud cracking exhaust, it just needs grunt, good acceleration, and a sporty but comfortable ride.

But even more importantly, I really want 2 things...for GM to make 3 vehicles that have their own personality, with each having the ability to supply a GOOD high quality, but cost effective vehicle to the performance market, with each car also having a number of different entry and halo models that will draw in buyers and also support overall sales numbers to ensure that a viable product exists not just in 2028, but for years beyond.

I would love to see Chevy with a pony car sized coupe, Buick with a mid or full sized four door (maybe with a 2 door variant) similar in size to the 2022 Charger, and a CT5 sized or slightly larger Cadillac. I would love to see each have access to the 6.7 V8 GM is developing, with Halo versions being slightly different...for instance, a TT V6 putting out 650-700 hp for a buick GNX, a 800+ hp Blackwing, and a 800+ ZL1 pony car sized Camaro halo... Buick and Cadillac might have good luck with 240-260 hp I4 engines as base engines, but with the Mustang being a competitor, the Camaro would need 325-350 hp as a base engine. If it makes more financial sense to limit the engine variances, they could all go with that same engine as a base engine, with slight detuning for Buick and Chevy as compared to Cadillac.
