Pricing for 2028 Camaro 7th gen?

What do you guys think starting price will be?

I'm guessing:
$40K turbo4
$55K V8

Based on current competitors (Mustang, Charger), add a couple years' worth of "inflation", destination fee increases, paint upcharges even for basic fleet-car flat white (i.e. new Dodge Charger), and any other reason they can crank up the price.

I am hoping (I know, unlikely) that they can get a base model down to 29.995. It would be very difficult, but a bare boney car under 30k will get people at least talking about it. 50k needs to be base 6.7, maybe 45k if they can swing it. Buick can be more expensive.

I doubt the 6.7 will ever be supercharged. I expect ZL1-X to be a 6.7 with an eRay emotor starting @ $79,000

Yea, the compression is way too high for boost. They would certainly have to tweak the heads or pistons to go forced induction, but they did so with the 5.5 ZR1?

I’d definitely be interested in a NA AWD ZL1 at that price. It gets you to the same place HP wise just doesn’t sound quite as good The GSX I built was $130k plus! Nice car, but there’s no way I can justify six figures for a toy.

Being in Canada, one of my major concerns will be pricing of the halo variant. Let's call it a ZL1 with 1LE option. I say this because a fully loaded Blackwing here can hit $160,000CAD. I know it's a Cadillac, but looking at the current Blackwing, fits inline with what a 7gen Camaro would be (less 2 doors). I'm struggling to find where they would save 60 or 70 thousand between the Chevy and the Cadillac assuming drive train, interior, suspension and brakes are similar.

Then there is the discussion of taxes in Canada. Over $100K we are now hit with the luxury tax. And lastly dealer markup. I've owned four 6th gen Camaros. All ZL1-1LE's. The 1st 2019 cost me a $10K markup. The 2nd I was lucky to pay MSRP. The 3rd and 4th were used - both commanding prices well in excess of MSRP due to a lack of availability and dealer allocations here in Canada and BC.

I am chomping at the bit for another ZL1 with a track pack of some description, and new tech and interior. But at what price?
