From the April 17th article https://gmauthority.com/blog/2026/0...-at-muscle-car-rebirth-during-dealer-meeting/

During the recent GM dealer conference held in Las Vegas last month, There was a new teaser video. While the vehicle itself was not fully revealed (unknown what this refers to, covered under a drop cloth, hidden in shadows, only parts were shown, the video also supposedly indicated that there was some sort of NASCAR connection. This may be intended at strengthening the ties with what it races. Is this a return to "what wins on Sunday sells on Monday marketing, because as of right now, GM really doesn't have a car to match with the NASCAR series.

There is an additional indication that it may not be the expected form factor. I have not seen information to rule out the coupe, but they seem to be indicating that it could have four doors and instead of engine, cabin, trunk, they might also be pursuing a fastback design. If so, would it be more like the Ford Mustang Fastback, the current Charger with the liftgate, or more or a design influenced by second to fourth generation Camaro and Firebird designs...albeit in four door trim.

GM authority also continues to note that it may be larger than the sixth gen Camaro, meaning possibly just more room for rear passengers while retaining the midsize platform, or bumping up to a full sized platform similar to the Chevy SS and current CT5.

Sounds like something I will want in about 4 years. It could basically be the Corvette Sedan they were designing and decided to use the Camaro nameplate and target NASCAR.

The 2015 Chevrolet SS Sedan when adjusted for inflation was about a $60,000 sedan. I expect the V8 variant of Camaro sedan to have a $59,000 MSRP.

Base 350hp turbo 4 to start at $35,000 but most all optioned to $40,000 for a while.
