Summary of most of the forum is.
If it's 4 doors dont call it a Camaro.
If you're trying to capitalize on sales dont make a Camaro.
If no V8 then its not a Camaro.
If it's not the fastest thing on 4 wheel then why bother.

They should just make the chevy that fits the bill for the majority, since they are an automaker that is looking to make money. And sell it without a badge. Call it the chevy

Honestly, I don't have a strong opinion on what GM does with the Camaro. If they build one that checks the boxes for me, I'll be in the market. If they don't, I'll look elsewhere. I get the nostalgia and the "don't mess with a good thing" mindset, though. If the Camaro returns, I'd personally like to see it come back as a V8 coupe. Time will tell.

In summary, it sounds like people want Chevy to use the Dodge Challenger as the benchmark, just not in those words.
