My ideas/complaints from owning several 6th gens...
Interior: Sunvisors that can actually block the sun, 4 inches tall ain't blocking squat. If it has a back seat, can it be used by adults? A center console lid that isn't an obstacle course to open and a console that can actually hold things. A wireless charging pad that the driver can reach and modern phones can sit in. 6 way passenger seat. A dome light either in the center of the roof, or two on the sides of the roof above the rear seats. Would it kill ya to add a couple of cup holders in the rear somewhere for those of us with multiple drinks in the car?
Electronics: Return of the Homelink device. More choices of the HUD graphics (mimic the Vette's), the 7th gen I owned had a perfect display choice that was very useful, but it wasn't offered for the Camaro. I'm sure it'll get the the dash wide display screen like nearly all Chevy's current vehicles. Wider rear view camera and a 360 or bird's eye view so we can stop damaging the front spoiler. Sequential turn signals anyone?
Body: How's about a trunk opening that you can get things in and out of? Door window sills that are low enough that you could actually rest your arm on them while cruising, would also help in drive-thrus. Turn signal side mirrors with power folding option, like the CT5. Return of the T tops (maybe not realistic with crash safety standards, but one can wish).
Powertrain: Retain 6 spd manuals. Many engine choices, so I'm sure we'll be satisfied, but an AWD option would have me on cloud 9, whether that's electric fwd unit like the ZR1X(not likely due to battery weight), or the current offering found in the platform-sharing CT5 V, once you experience an AWD sportscar take off from a stop, you'll never want to go back to just RWD. And you northern junkies would appreciate it, I'm sure.
With the reported intention of offering lower priced starting models, many of these would most likely fall into the option package bundles, but some of the fundamentals like the ridiculously high window sill or racetrack inspired shape of the trunk opening should be seriously considered, IMO.
Let CHEVY know what you want folks!!
