2029 Camaro - model year report

These sedan designs don't look like a Camaro at all, the coupe form factor has its own unique appeal. Good, sporty sedans have their place, but it isn't under a Camaro nameplate. Besides, there's the CT5-V Blackwing if someone wants a balls-to-the-wall sedan from GM.

This is just like Camaro was to Corvette... A lower cost Blackwing.

Just glad I don't have to make decisions on my current Camaros, and their value will hold well.

It's funny that I had a 2022 Camaro, with no back seat room. So, I got a CT4-V it doesn't have any room in the back seat either. So, what makes everybody that a 4-door Camaro would either. The Camaro with its high sill windows didn't help thinks. By the end of 2027 will have all the info we need to decide. With Chevy dropping new engines all the time we may all be shocked on what they drop in the engine bay.

My experience is way different than yours. Owned two ATS and looked hard at an ATS V coupe. Loads more rear seat room and you could get two sets of golf clubs in the trunk. Issue with the coupe was GM slammed the a-pillar robbing the car of head room. And the ATS/CT4 were on the short wheelbase alpha. CTS/CT5 were off the long wheelbas.

what remains to be seen is what “Alpha2“ actually is. It does replace the CT5 which is the LWB but do the Chevy and Buick also get the LWB?

as I’ve mentioned, GM has a brand differentiation problem in their hands. And if they do it like the they did with LWB Epsilon, the Chevy will have hand cuffs.

all that has been stated by GM was Reuss‘ comment that whatever a NG Camaro is, it would have to be be more practical.
