Where GM may have a problem

Number 3, are you implying it's now a given that the 7th gen Camaro (if it does materialize) will be a sedan? Because if not, then why couldn't a coupe be allowed to have Blackwing-like or better performance, it isn't a direct competitor. I'm also not sure the CT5-V Blackwing has that much more...

Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

Are you bullish about AI or does it turn you off completely, or maybe somewhere inbetween?

Here is how I think we could see a coupe

Just curious, but if all these are identical, how is the Camaro going to be different from being simply another Cadillac trim? At least could the rear and the interior be completely different, or is that too expensive, too?

Who's in the market??? Assuming it's a legit Camaro.

Only if it's a Camaro and better than mine in every way, plus the price is tolerable. Not interested otherwise---after all, I could just get a CT5-V Blackwing anytime if I wanted a sedan and I were willing to spend $100K+ on a fun car.

This is what I think the 2028 Camaro sedan will look like

For the record, I don't like admins banning or deleting posts from people who are simply obnoxious, nothing more. Why would we want to prevent others from seeing their posts and forming an opinion?

bbrriiaann1973, are you okay, brother? bishopts knows nothing about cars, eh?

This is what I think the 2028 Camaro sedan will look like

IMO the basic shape of a car matters much, much more than its internals when applying monikers. This is not about resistance to change but brand dilution, with GM trying to drum up extra sales by appealing to nostalgia while misleading people into thinking a totally different vehicle is...

Article: Four door Camaro fight just exploded as manual V8 rumors divide enthusiasts ahead of 2028 return

This article makes it sound like GM is doing some kind of favor or charitable service to V8 engines by keeping them on the menu. Nothing can be far from the truth, and I for one wouldn't want a consolation prize engine kept alive solely for nostalgia anyway. Also, a 4-door sedan can be an...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

I agree with you 100% on feature subscriptions in cars, and if it were up to me, they would be outlawed tomorrow. That doesn't mean GM isn't rushing to increase revenues from this model. As I said, the cost associated with subscriptions is minuscule compared to that of manufacturing vehicles...

This is what I think the 2028 Camaro sedan will look like

It's a valid opinion, whether one likes it or not. The CT5-V Blackwing is absolutely amazing, but it isn't a sports car. It seems NitroRS24's preferred sports car format and thus his preferred future Camaro is a 2-door coupe (or convertible), not sure how that's ridiculous. Again, can a sedan...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

The lower trims did get 18" wheels with soft 50 aspect ratio all-season tires, and the ride was pretty smooth on those (I had a 2LT with this wheel/tire setup). The way I set the mirrors is when a car is coming up on me, either on the left or the right as it moves out of my rearview, it comes...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

Ditching runflat tires for normal summer or all-season tires solves the ride quality and road noise problem immediately. I think GM got a sweet deal from Goodyear on their otherwise unsellable crap runflats, plus they didn't need to worry about including a spare. Then again, higher V8 trims come...

Pricing for 2028-2029 Camaro 7th gen?

These are nonsensical prices. Not sure if the automotive market as we know it has a meaningful future. As mentioned, the overhead on these cars that we are expected to cover is crazy, from union-driven wages through crazy parts markups through corporate damage control and financing aborted...

Sedan or Coupe 7th gen Camaro - what do you prefer?

Similar situation here, 3 Gen Z kids, the last one on the fence between Z and alpha. The first two learned to drive very quickly, I bought a first shared beater for them and now they have their own. They absolutely love the freedom of driving their own cars and are happy to work part time while...

Sedan or Coupe 7th gen Camaro - what do you prefer?

...and that's cheaper than paying a $250 lease plus $250 on gas a month for their own vehicle that they can take anywhere, anytime? Or do they stay at home most of the time?

Sedan or Coupe 7th gen Camaro - what do you prefer?

So how do they get around without their own vehicles or public transport? Mom/dad mobility?

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

Here's my solution to the plastic bottom/insert problem. The photo doesn't give it justice, this carbon fiber plus perforated leather steering wheel is nearly perfect. That said, I understand why you want a proper circle for drifting and very quick end to end turns, I'm just saying that the...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

It seems the unofficial "wireless charging pad consensus" for all vehicles is gravitating towards the location you want, ie under the HVAC control panel in front of the shifter, so chances are this will be taken care of if a new Camaro comes out. It's the first time I see someone firmly believe...

Based on the 6th gen, what do you want Chevrolet to do better/include with the 7th gen Camaro?

I didn't know GM declined to build model year 2024 orders that were already accepted (2000 status), that would've been a silly amateur move. The problem with your wish list and that of many others here is that such a car, much as we all love it, has a very limited customer base, and GM is...

More 7th gen Camaro news: GM Hinted At Muscle Car Rebirth During Dealer Meeting

And what in the world would be different about a "Camaro" SUV and a Blazer? More power because of the V8? The Blazer already has a Camaro-inspired interior with even a few similar exterior touches... plus these small and midsize SUVs all look and drive very similar, except for the worst ones...
