This day and age Id never buy new GM anything. Planned obsolescence is real and visible. Even the N/A SS engine to M6 will have AFM or DFM trash

I'm excited for the car, but not excited for the price. Not bagging on GM, but instead I am on all car companies as everything has gotten too expensive. You can bet a 2SS with a few extra options will easily be 60k which is just way too much for an NA V8 muscle car that doesn't come with a special V8 engine (think LS7 as that's what I mean by special, not the base stingray V8).

It's going to be too hard to ignore a used Gen6 ZL1 at that price which has more power and is built on a similar platform.

Chevrolet just introduced an LS6 7.4L N/A 550+ HP in the vette. That will drop to some vehicle other than a vette. And minimum price for that will be $80k if not $98k

There ain’t no Camaro test mule out there. Car won’t come out until 2029. So no test mule until late 2027/ 2028

I still hope that GM or anyone would give us a hint of what's coming, To keep things interesting especially for people that are planning on buying something sporty in the next while.
Some might get tired of waiting and pull the trigger on something else!
