If it's 4 doors dont call it a Camaro.
If you're trying to capitalize on sales dont make a Camaro.
If no V8 then its not a Camaro.
If it's not the fastest thing on 4 wheel then why bother.
They should just make the chevy that fits the bill for the majority...
If Nissan were actually trying to save their company they would jump in with a new xterra with body on frame and a rugged look. And probably have any other car make build the transmission.

The rx8 and saturn ion quad coupe design had the "rear door" open backwards. Similar to 99-07 extended cab silverado. So it gave the normal look of a coupe. But with the ability to access the rear seat way better.

3.6 turbo in the cadillac ATS-V would drop right into a 6th gen camaro and it made more power than the LT1. They could have easily made that a special edition camaro engine. But the market would have been divided with a v6 making more power that the v8.
